ForMin Judeh: Jordan is facing terror challenge; youth should be educated to reject such ideas

Jordan is facing challenges including terrorism, while the youth should be educated to reject the ideas promoted by terrorism and extremism, visiting Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh said Thursday in Bucharest.

“The fact that Jordan is an oasis of stability in the area is no coincidence, but the result of a policy conducted by the King of Jordan. Jordan is facing some challenges. There is this challenge of terrorism, the fight against terror. As the King of Jordan said, the fight against terror is not necessarily a fight of the Western countries, but of Muslims. As the Romanian foreign minister also said, this is an issue of Europe’s eastern neighbourhood. We believe Europe is an important neighbour, but the size of the issues has exceeded the geographical area where they emerge. That is why the King of Jordan called them a Third World War,” Judeh told the Annual Meeting of the Romanian Diplomacy. More…
