Former president Traian Basescu does not exclude the possibility of illegal financing of his campaign, though he says he would regret that.
‘I would be sorry if my campaign was funded with money of dubious sources, but I cannot exclude it. I said for long that we should change the party financing law,’ Basescu said on Tuesday at B1 TV.
Full funding from the state budget would eliminate the problems of campaign sponsoring, he added. More…
