FinMin: We discuss with IMF 2016 budget, royalty law, structural reform developments

Romania’s Public Finance Ministry begins on Tuesday discussions with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the 2016 national budget, Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici said.

“The IMF mission begins today [Tuesday]. We shall discuss topics which we all know, mainly the 2016 budget, what is left to implement of the structural reforms, the royalty law, etc.,” Teodorovici pointed out.

He also said that the possibility of concluding a new arrangement will also be discussed. “Under the current circumstances in the world, such an arrangement, a much more flexible one, can represent a plus for Romania,” the minister said. More…
