The extraordinary New Year’s concerts of the central city of Targu Mures Symphony Orchestra, scheduled for January 11 and January 12, will be conducted by Pablo Boggiano, recognized for his performances at the lectern of famous orchestras from Vienna, Paris, London, Bratislava, Budapest or Buenos Aires.

“The programme will include famous waltzes, polkas and marches created by Johann Strauss,” the State Philharmonic of Targu Mures announces, on its website.

Also, the representatives of the State Philharmonic from Targu Mures specified, the extraordinary Re-Revelion (Re-New Year’s) concerts will be conducted, as every year, by Shinya Ozaki, these being scheduled for January 17 and January 18.

During the extraordinary Re-Revelion concerts, soprano Diana Tugui and baritone György Levente will also perform, and the programme will include works by Johann Strauss, Gaetano Donizetti, Giacomo Puccini and Aleksandr Porfirievici Borodin.
