DNA prosecutors conduct searches at National Tax Administration Agency HQ (sources)

Prosecutors of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) – Oradea Territorial Service are conducting on Tuesday searches at the National Tax Administration Agency (ANAF) headquarters in Bucharest, judicial sources stated for AGERPRES.

According to the above-mentioned sources, the headquarters of the Satu Mare County Council are also subject of searches, in a case of alleged corruption relating to public procurement.

In a statement released on Tuesday, DNA informs that it is carrying out searches at 16 locations in the Bucharest municipality and Ilfov, Satu Mare and Botosani counties, out of which two are headquarters of public institutions and the rest are premises of companies and private residences.

DNA prosecutors — Oradea Territorial Service opened a criminal investigation in a corruption case for acts perpetrated between 2010—2015.

The prosecutors are receiving specialized support from the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) and the Special Intervention Brigade of the Gendarmerie in the case. More…
