Judoka Distria Krasniqi, won the silver medal at the European Judo Championship, which is being held in Montpellier, France.

In the category up to 52 kilograms, Distria lost in the final of this European competition to the French judoka, Amandine Bouchard, KosovaPress reports.

Meanwhile, up to the silver medal, Krasniqi passed the first round without a fight, in the second round she defeated the Croatian, Ana Viktorija Puljiz, and in the quarterfinals she won against the judoka from Azerbaijan, Gultaj Mammadaliyeva.

Distria continued with victory in the semi-finals, defeating the Italian Odette Giuffrida, whereas in the final she was defeated by the French judoka Buchard.
