Diplomatic sources, commenting on statements by Turkish officials regarding the Muslim minority in Thrace, emphasized that “members of the Muslim minority in Thrace enjoy equality and equal rights.”
The same sources added that “issues related to the rule of law and the protection of human rights for Greek citizens are neither raised nor could they be subject to discussion.”
