“Legal texts are not interpreted based on any person’s presumed will and desires but according to their letter and spirit. The technical legal term erga omnes, which is the core of the Prespa Agreement, is not open to any dispute,” diplomatic sources emphasised regarding the statements of the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski.

The same sources pointed out that “this is why no question of legal interpretation has ever arisen in North Macedonia since the signing of the Agreement.”
