Deputy PM Kuneva: Bulgaria and Romania Should Have Special Relations

Sofia, November 17 (BTA) – Meeting with Romanian Ambassador here Anton Pacuretu on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Meglena Kuneva said that Bulgaria and Romania should have special relations and follow common goals within the European Union, said the government press office.
Kuneva said that achieving good results under the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (whereby the European Commission monitors the progress of Bulgaria and Romania in reforming their judicial systems and fighting organized crime and corruption) is an immediate priority for the Bulgarian government.
