Topics referring to the security situation in Ukraine, to the bilateral cooperation within the anti-missile shield of Deveselu, as well as Romania’s commitment in the Afghani theater of operations were discussed on Friday during a meeting between the Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, and a delegation of the US Congress.
According to a release of the Ministry of National Defence (MApN), Minister Mircea Dusa and the US congressmen have also discussed the stage of implementing ensuring measures in the bilateral context and the NATO context, the joint exercises conducted within the ‘Atlantic Resolve’ Operation, as well as the Action Plan regarding raising the operational capacity of the Alliance.
