All players in the market and the civil society will be consulted in the coming year for finding solutions, and my message is that although we have little money, we can do a lot with much intelligence, Minister of Communications and the Information Society Marius Bostan told the Mobile Communications Gala in a video message.
“In the coming year we shall consult with all the players in the market and the civil society. Our priorities include the preparation of the [funds] absorption for the Digital Agenda. We shall have to succeed with the Ro-Net project in order to create infrastructure where we need it, and mostly in disadvantaged areas, which are hard to reach for the signal. Although we have limited resources, my message is that with little money and much intelligence we can do a lot of valuable things,” Bostan said.
The Communications Minister also pointed out that the cyber-crime area is another priority of the ministry, same as supporting entrepreneurship.
“Cyber-crime is a priority of ours. The little money we have we shall invest in this area. The confidence in the internet area, in banking transfers and in banking operation is very important to us. Entrepreneurship and education are two major areas. The internet changes the education model. I discussed the subject with the Education Minister, ways to generate interest in this area, so that children may learn fast and effectively use these instruments,” the official mentioned. More…
