The Cyprus News Agency signed a cooperation agreement with the Belgian News Agency, Belga, on Thursday in Paris, on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) which takes place in the French capital.

The agreement was signed on behalf of CNA by George Christodoulides, Acting Director/ Editor-in-Chief, and on behalf of Belga, by Patrick Lacroix, CEO of the agency.

The agreement stipulates, inter alia, that Belga will make its news and photographic services available to CNA and CNA will make its news and photographic services available to Belga.

Each agency shall have the right to incorporate in its services daily news and photographs from the other agency, indicating the source.
