The Cyprus News Agency signed today an agreement with the Chinese News Agency XINHUA for the promotion of XINHUA`s photo service in Cyprus.
The Picture Marketing Agreement was signed by the Chairman of the CNA Board of Directors Larkos Larkou and XINHUA`s European Regional Bureau Director Wang Chaowen.
Both men welcomed the signing of the agreement, noting that the traditionally friendly relations between the two Αgencies will be further enhanced and upgraded through this agreement.
According to the agreement, CNA will act as XINHUA`s representative in Cyprus for the promotion and selling of the Chinese Αgency`s photo service.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation suggested a number of ideas which could be jointly implemented with an aim to promote the services of the two Αgencies and increase their income.
The CNA delegation, comprising also Acting Director and Editor in Chief George Penintaex, agreed to examine XINHUA`s proposals.
