Bulgaria's GDP Grows 2.2 Per Cent in Second Quarter of 2015 Y/Y

Sofia, August 14 (BTA) – The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew 2.2 per cent in the second quarter of 2015 compared to the like period in the previous year, according to snap estimates the National Statistical Institute released on Friday. The first quarter GDP growth year-on-year was 2 per cent. The increase was 0.4 per cent in the second quarter of 2015 compared to the first. However, the quarterly GDP growth slowed down, as the quarterly increase in January-March 2015 was 0.9 per cent compared to the last quarter of 2014. More…
