Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov on Friday told the joint press conference he had with his Romanian and Serbian counterparts that, with respect to the common infrastructure, he wished to see a motorway built to link Bucharest, Sofia and Belgrade.
He added that the three countries have a great opportunity to join hands in projects to the benefit of all Europe.
“We mainly discussed and agreed upon three things — and we are also ready to sign the documents — which guarantee a better future even for third countries. We owe Victor Ponta [the Romanian PM] the name of Craiova Group (…) In terms of infrastructure, my wish is to have a motorway linking Bucharest, Sofia and Belgrade,” said the Bulgarian head of the Executive.
He also said he hoped the motorway to Belgrade would be finished in 2016. More…
