Bucharest International Short Film Festival grants free entrance Wednesday through Saturday

A total of 29 short films will be screen during the Bucharest International Short Film Festival 2015 (FISB), which kicks off on Wednesday at the Cinema Garden of the Museum of Romanian Peasant.

According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, the event, held through Saturday, features five sections: the official competition, films 4 kids, films outside of the competition, the Venice International Film Festival retrospective, and the International Short Film festival in Drama retrospective. The retrospectives screened by FISB will provide the Bucharest public with a selection of shorts curated by two of the major film festivals in the world.

Enrico Vannucci, Short Film Advisor at Venice Film Festival, made a selection including the following titles: Art , directed by Adrian Sitaru; ‘Maryam’, directed by Sidi Saleh; ‘La bambina’, an Iran-Italy coproduction directed by Ali Asgari; and ‘3/105’, a short directed by Avelina Prat and Diego Opazo.
