Sofia, July 16 (BTA) – The bronze head of Thracian ruler Seuthes III (from ca. 331 BC to ca. 300 BC), property of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences’ National Institute of Archaeology, will be displayed at the J. Paul Getty Museum (the Getty Museum) in Los Angeles on July 28, the Bulgarian Culture Ministry said. The bronze head is currently on display in the Louvre and is the highlight of the exhibition titled “The Saga of the Thracian Kings: Archaeological Discoveries in Bulgaria”, which will close on July 20.
