Cypriot tennis player Marcos Baghdatis was defeated on Sunday by 10th seed Gael Monfils 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 at the US Open.
According to his website, he will next travel to the Far East for the ATP World Tour`s Asian Swing. He is scheduled to play in Chengdu, Tokyo and the Masters 1000 event in Shanghai.
