The best photos captured between July 2014 – August 2015 by the photographers of the Romanian National News Agency AGERPRES were exhibited in the OANA-Yonhap Press Photo Exhibition 2015, organized at the headquarters of the South Korean Press Agency Yonhap, in Seoul, between November 15-18, 2015.
The event took place on the occasion of the 39th reunion of the Executive Board of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), with the AGERPRES photos to be published in a photographic album together with those of the members of OANA and other invited news agencies.
AGERPRES and Yonhap have renewed in June of the current year their cooperation agreement, on the occasion of the anniversary of 25 years of diplomatic relations between Romania and the Republic of Korea.
The Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) was founded in 1961, upon the initiative of UNESCO, having the purpose of ensuring a free and direct news exchange between news agencies of a region inhabited by more than half of the world’s population.
