BERLIN, (BTA) – Actors Maria Bakalova and Boyko Krastanov, as well as 15 other representatives of Bulgarian cinematography, are among the 709 newly admitted members of the European Film Academy (EFA), it announced on Europe Day, May 9.
Once every year EFA accepts new members, and this year the number is record-high, according to a press release on the academy’s website, which adds that this amplifies the voice of European cinema around the world.
The European Film Academy now has more than 5,000 members from 52 countries. Any of them can register to vote each year for the Awards, and participate in events organised by it.
