”There is a large number of people at our universities and companies who do everything that is currently trend in Europe. We have to give them more space and as a minister who has the digitization sector in his department, it is something we have to talk about constantly. Digitization is not just a word, but also includes everyday services in healthcare, administration, private sector,” Forto told reporters.
Stefano Ellero, Head of Cooperation in the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, said that the topics of the conference are focused on the most important transformations currently taking place in the world, including in the Western Balkans, and are related to digitalization and the green agenda. According to him, these transformations will greatly contribute to the improvement of health services for all citizens, and at the same time, these are key processes that concern BiH’s accession to the European Union.
”The European Commission currently has EUR 14 million available for the digitization process, which is carried out through GIZ and the EBRD,” said Ellero, adding that additional investments have been announced regarding these processes.
